Chichester Road Advisory Committee (RAC)

Absent: Stan Brehm, Jeff Jordan, John Amsden
Meeting called to order at 6:30
Meeting minutes of December 16 accepted with Dave motioning and Richard second.
Discussion followed about the January 28, 2014 budget hearing. RAC discusses that as many members that can come should be at this meeting due to the possibility that budget committee is rumored to cut the proposed RAC budget by eliminating a roadway section. No discussions from budget committee to RAC have indicated this.
Discussion continued on the topic of the budget and the possibility that the dollar amount may be cut but the RAC and the Road Agent, with the approval of the selectmen, should decide the limits of the roadwork not the budget committee. As well, the final dollar amount should be decided by the towns’ people at the Town Meeting in March.
Doug to get out the final draft of the RAC Report this week and Philip will get this to the town website.
Philip is going to talk to Jodie about a schedule for a public hearing for the RAC.
Terry to stay as the chairman (unless a member volunteers) until town meeting. At that time someone will have to step up to the plate.

February 10-RAC meeting @ highway garage @ 6:30 (if necessary)
